Upcoming Events and Announcements for February 1, 2017

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Volunteers are needed in several of the ministries of Faith Center.  Greeters, Ushers, Children Workers, Youth Workers, Hospitality, Special Events, and etc. Please see Pastor Vonda and she will help you get connected to the Department Head leaders.

In addition, PowerHouse Youth is in need of a cook to prepare light meals 2 times a month for the youth group. Please see Pastor Rupert if you are interested in assisting.

Anyone who is interested in being a part of the Praise Dance team, please sign up in the bookstore.

FEBRUARY: February is “Faith Refresher Month”.  Come and get your faith activated this month.  Apostle Sowell is starting a new series called, “Faith for the Supernatural.”

TUESDAYS, PowerHouse Youth meet 6:30-8:00 p.m. 6th grade and up.

FRIDAY, February 10th, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Fresh Water Small Group beginning at Ella Edison’s home, 1306 S. Galena Ave, Freeport. She will be doing an 8 week study on Battlefield of the Mind. Please sign up in Fellowship Hall if you plan to attend, or see Ella for more details.

SATURDAY, February 11th, 9 a.m.-4:00 p.m., we will be having our Faith Center Freeport Membership class. There will be a light breakfast, lunch, and a certificate of completion at the end of the class. Please sign up in Fellowship Hall.

SUNDAY, February 12th, Membership Sunday. New members will be received in the 2nd service.

SUNDAY, February 19th, 10:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Pastor Dixie Ditsworth will be having a 6 week class, Healing Hearts, Inner Healing & Deliverance, in the lower level. Please sign up in Fellowship Hall if you plan on attending.

TUESDAYS, February 21-April 18th, Apostle Mike and Pastor Susie Sowell will be teaching from the book, Basic Training for Prophetic Ministry by Kris Vallotton. If you would like to purchase a book, place your order in the Faith Center Christian Bookstore by February 7th, or you can order it online at Amazon.com. We encourage everyone to come out and be a part of this training.

FRIDAY, February 24th, 6:00 p.m., Friday Night Live for Married Couples. All married couples are invited to a time of food, fellowship, and a message by Pastor Felix & Fiona Okoroji. Sign up in Fellowship Hall by Feb. 19th if you’re planning to attend.

SUNDAY, February 26th, Breakthrough Sunday.  Pastor Felix Okoroji will be speaking and ministering.

SATURDAY, March 4th, 9 a.m., Men’s Breakfast. We encourage all the men to come out and enjoy some good food and fellowship.

SATURDAY, March 25th, 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Faith Kids Skate Party, Nursery to 5th Grade. Please sign up at the Kidcheck Station.
